Net worth calculator
Add up what you own, subtract what you owe, and get the one number that describes where you stand today. Enter assets and liabilities separately — cash, property, vehicles, investments against loans, cards and bills due. In Bahraini dinars, with nothing saved and nothing sent anywhere.
What it does
It totals your assets, totals your liabilities, and subtracts one from the other. Value each item at what it is worth today rather than at what you paid, and enter loans at the balance outstanding rather than the amount originally borrowed.
How to read the result
- The direction matters more than the number. A single reading says very little. Run it again in six months and compare the two — that difference is the useful figure.
- Below zero is common and is not a verdict. A mortgage or a car loan puts most people there for years. It describes a position, not a mistake, and it moves every month you pay something down or put something aside.
- It is a snapshot, not a plan. The number tells you where you are standing; it does not tell you what to do next.
